Consul General Luo Linquan attended the opening ceremony of "Happy Chinese New Year-Chinese Cuisine Week" on Feb 3 at the headquarters of Facebook in Menlo Park.

Facebook hosted seven Chinese top chefs, inviting them to cook dishes at the company kitchen for three days during their ongoing Chinese Cuisine Week, which is dedicated to recognizing the Chinese culture and celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb 8.

Luo welcomed the chefs for bringing the Facebook employees delicious Chinese food, which helped strengthen their understanding of traditional Chinese culture and also promote cultural exchanges.

Joining Luo during the opening remarks was Debbie Frost, vice-president of international communications and public policy of Facebook.
