Consul General Gao Zhansheng Attended Sacramento Chinese Community's Banquet Celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

On October 7, 2012, Consul General and Mrs. Gao Zhansheng attended the grand banquet celebrating the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, held by China National Day Foundation in Sacramento. About 400 overseas Chinese and guests attended the event.

With detailed data and vivid examples, Consul General Gao illustrated the remarkable achievements made by the Chinese people during the past 63 years, the peaceful development of the cross-Taiwan-Straits relations and new progress of China-U.S. cooperative partnership based on mutual respect and mutual benefit. He expressed appreciation to the Chinese community in Sacramento for their efforts and contributions to China's economic and social development as well as China-U.S. friendship. He also encouraged them to work hard continually for the stable development of China-U.S. relations, the reunification of China and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Consul General and Mrs. Gao Zhansheng also watched performance presented by local Chinese community.
