The Consulate General of China attended 2012 NCCCAF Athletic Tournament Opening Ceremony

The Consulate procession enters the sports arena.

On August 11, Consul General Gao Zhansheng, Deputy Consul General Yi Xianrong and Deputy Consul General Bi Gang attended 2012 Chinese American Athletic Tournament opening ceremony in Union City at the invitation of Northern California Chinese Culture-Athletic Federation (NCCCAF). Over forty consuls and their families attended the opening procession.

Consul General Gao Zhansheng awards NCCCAF the congratulatory letter.

Consul General Gao highly commended the remarkable achievements made by NCCCAF in uniting the local Chinese communities, promoting Chinese culture in American society and fostering the China-US friendship during the past ten years since its foundation. He also extended his expectations that the whole Chinese community in the Bay Area would join hands to strive for the common development and glorious future of "Descendants of the Dragon".

Consul General Gao and Mrs. Gao have a photo with distinguished guests and host of "Friendship across the Ocean" International Arts Festival.

Consul General Gao attended the "celebrity race" and the Second International Arts Festival named "Friendship across the Ocean" with Madame Wang Yanlai. Deputy Consuls General respectively attended the opening ceremonies of other sports events. The Consulate team won the championship of the relay race and the tug-of-war.

Visa Office of the Consulate General also provided consulting services regarding passports and visas on spot.
