Consul General Yuan Nansheng meets China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award and China Friendship Award Winners

On June 10, Counsel General Yuan Nansheng meets China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award and China Friendship Award Winners from North California at his residence.

The attendees include Dr. Jin Jianmin, President of U.S.-China Foundation for International Exchanges; China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award winners,Dr. Scott Douglas Rozelle, Professor of Stanford Research Institute International, Dr. Richard Zare, Professor of Chemistry Dept. of Stanford University, and his wife Susan Zare; China Friendship Award Winners,Mr. Chengben Wang, President and CEO of Encinal Group, Dr. Hong-Chiu Chen, former Chevron expert, and his wife Helen Chen, Dr. Lee-Shin Tsai, former expert of U.S. Department of Agriculture, West Regional Research Center, and his wife Dr. Huan Tsai, Dr. Charles F. Shoemaker, Prof. of UC Davis Food Science & Technology Department, and his wife Sharon Shoemaker, Dr. Ray R. Chen, President of CITS Group, and his wife Shirley Hou, Dr. David Y. Fong, President and CEO of Forte Connections Inc., and his wife Wendy C. Fong. Deputy Consul General Bi Gang, Counselor Dong Jianlong also attended the meeting.

Counsel General Yuan thanked all the experts for their contributions toward the development of China as well as China-U.S. relations, and wished to work together to boost the China-U.S. cooperation and friendship in his term.
