On August 18, Deputy Consul General Bi Gang attended Shandong(Silicon Valley) overseas talents recruitment event in Santa Clara. A recruiting delegation led by Mr. Hu Wenrong, Deputy Director General of the organization department from Shandong province, composed of relevant administrators from Shandong Provincial government, Chinese Marine University, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, regional economic and technological development zones, and businesses including Shandong Ocean Investment, Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Inspur Group, attended the event. More than 150 specialists from silicon valley took part in the event, with over 10 letters of intention for cooperation signed.

Deputy Consul General Bi Gang addressed at the meeting, and encouraged specialists to help promote China-US science and technology cooperation.
