On September 15, 2009, Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei met with the student delegation from the MBA program of Stanford University USA. Vice Minister He first gave a brief introduction to China's peaceful development strategy, the independent foreign policy of peace, and the latest development of China-U.S. relationship. He encouraged the students to gain a complete and objective knowledge of China's special circumstance and China-U.S. relationship through the visit and make positive efforts to increase the understanding and friendship between China and the United States. The students responded that the visit deepened their understanding of China's economic and social development and foreign policies, and they hoped for better development of U.S.-China relationship.
