More foreign governments and leaders have expressed their condolences and sympathies for the victims of the deadly earthquake that hit southwest China's Sichuan province on May 12.

Up to 17:00 Beijing time on May 23, heads of state and government, parliamentary leaders, officials of international organizations and people from all walks of life from 153 countries visited Chinese embassies, consulates or missions to mourn the victims of the earthquake. The following are a list of them.

The heads of state and government are:
