A number of governments and international organizations donated to the earthquake-hit Wenchuan county of Sichuan province.

The foreign ministry of Norway declared that the Norwegian government would donate 20 million NOK (about 4 million US dollars) to China for disaster relief.

The Spanish government will provide China with 1 million euro of emergency assistance.

Belgian Foreign Minister Karel Degucht said that Belgium would offer 650,000 euro of emergency assistance to China.

The foreign ministry of France announced to provide 250,000 euro worth of disaster relief materials to the disaster-hit regions through the Red Cross Society of China.

Greek Foreign Minister Ms Dora Bakoyannis declared that the Greek government decided to provide the Chinese government with 200,000 euro of emergency assistance.

The Estonian government will donate 500,000 EEK (about 49,000 US dollars) to the Chinese government to extend the condolence and support of the Estonian government and people to the disaster-hit people of Sichuan.

The Vietnamese government will provide 200,000 US dollars of cash to the Chinese government to help with the earthquake disaster relief.

The government of Mozambique provides China with RMB40,000 for disaster relief.

The UN Refugee Agency will donate 50,000 US dollars of cash to support the disaster relief efforts of the Chinese government.

A large number of foreign diplomats in China also personally donated to China.
